Combined Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor Course (ACLS-I) and Core Instructor Course

Course Background

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor Course (ACLS-I) aims to develop proficiency in teaching ACLS provider course. Proficiency includes the ability to set up an ACLS provider course based on the results of a pre-course “learning needs assessment” of a particular student population. The purpose of the ACLS Provider Course is to provide an adult education experience for healthcare professionals who manage cardiac arrest, life-threatening arrhythmia and acute ischemic stroke.

The AHA Core Instructor Course aims to strengthen the skills and proficiency in teaching and facilitate the personal professional development as an AHA instructor. It is currently a requisite for anyone who wants to become the AHA instructor.
