ECG and Pharmacology Course
 
Course Background

The AHA ECG and Pharmacology Course aims to develop proficiency in interpretation of arrhythmia and basic knowledge of the drugs used in cardiovascular emergencies. The course material is consistent with the content of the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider Course (ACLS). The course can enhance the knowledge on ECG and Pharmacology before attending the ACLS course.

 
 
Course Pre-requisites
      • Personnel who are working in emergency, intensive care, critical care or acute departments/wards; emergency medical providers such as medical officers, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics and other professionals who need to interpret ECG in care of patients and drug handling in treatment patients in cardiovascular emergencies.
 
 
Course Contents
    • Lectures on ECG and Pharmacology
    • Interactive session on ECG quiz

    Candidates are strongly recommended to read the AHA ECG and Pharmacology Student Workbook before attending the course. Early registration and collection of course materials is much encouraged.

 
 
Course Completion
      AHA ECG and Pharmacology Completion Certificate will be issued to candidates who have attended all the sessions of the course.
