1. Primary Examination in Emergency Medicine (PEEM) will be held in CUHK on 1-2 June 2010.

2. ICEM 2010
The Conference would be held from 9th to 12th June 2010 in Singapore.

3. AMM-AMS-HKAM Tripartite Congress 2010
The Congress was held every 3 years. The coming Congress would be held from 12 to 14 Nov 2010 in HKAM. The theme would be "Benefits & Risks fo Recent Medical Advances". Our College would be responsible for one scientific session and the topic was finalized as "PAD-controversy".

 

1.Majority of AHA course (BLS, ECG & Pharmacology, ACLS & PALS) would be held in PYNEH Training Centre with effective from Jan 2010. An MOU would be drafted by PYNEH to be signed by our Vice-president on 4-Jan-2010 for the use of the Training Centre in PYNEH for one year.

2. A&E Departments of UCH, QMH and PYNEH were successfully accredited as Toxicology Training Unit.

3. The Council appointed Dr. Axel Siu to be the Chairman of the Organising Committee of SSEM 2010 and agreed to continue to sign contract with HKAM for secretariat service for the Symposium.

4. Recognised Overseas Qualifications
Membership of College of Emergency Medicine (MCEM) and Membership of HK Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Colleges (MHKICBSC) were added into the list of qualifications recognised by our Colege to be equivalent to our IEEM.

5. The second Pre-hospital Care Symposium, "Disaster Management Seminar" had been held on 17 April in CHP with more than 100 particpants . Overseas speakers from Japan & Taiwan were invited.

6. More than 60 fellows attended the first College retreat on 8 May in Hong Kong Parkview.
